interval. The condemnation limit for lead content is 60
ppm. A sudden spike in lead levels or levels that approach
the condemning limit indicate an abnormal wear situation
and can indicate the need to drain the oil. AMSOIL 15W-40

low lead levels throughout the 983-hour drain interval,
never going above 12 ppm.

The NOACK
Volatility Test determines the evaporation loss
of lubricants in high temperature service. The more
